There generally comes a time in all our lives when we start to think how nice it would be to care less about what others think, and be more of ourselves.

To do the things we love, be playful and follow our own hearts and curiosities, as opposed to being led only by the needs and dreams of others.

An art practice, whether you believe you are an artist or not, gives you a safe place to gently learn how to be and to express more of the beautiful, long-lost you.

Many people teach art skills and how to make beautiful pictures, and I do that too in my workshops and classes, but the difference is – I teach YOU TO BE YOU.

This benefits people who already make art as they learn how to find and use their own voice and create in their own style, but it also greatly benefits anyone and everyone who wants to bring more joy, playfulness, freedom and confidence into their lives.

If this has sparked any kind of curiosity in you, my next art workshop will be on Sunday, April 26, at Hopetoun’s Power House Arts Studio.

We will have a community-shared lunch and a day of creativity, skills, process learning, and FUN. Bookings at Hopetoun Neighbourhood House.

An early bird special is available until April 22.
