Good Friday meet headlines Stawell harness action
A nine-race card of harness action, including heats and a final of the Pleasant Creek Plate, headlines Stawell HRC's annual Good Friday Appeal race meeting at Laidlaw Park.
Stawell HRC President Marnie Bibby with Starzinhereyes after their win at Ballarat a fortnight ago. The seven-year-old mare was driven by Daryl Douglas and took her record to 11 wins, 21 placings and $58,602 from 74 starts. Bibby works full-time as a nurse and part-time as an owner/trainer of races, with her team in partnership with her father, Gary Blackman.
